Limited Warranty Statement
Xtreme Motor Co. Distributes products manufactured to superior quality standards to afford our customers the highest level of satisfaction. In keeping with this goal, all Xtreme Motor Co. products are warranted to the original purchaser as follows:
Warranty Coverage:
Xtreme Motor Co. warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and maintenance, subject to the periods, limitations and exclusions listed below.
Xtreme Motor Co. will correct any covered defect in material or workmanship; without charge for parts or labor, at any authorized Xtreme Motor Co. servicing dealer, during the warranty period.
All parts replaced under this warranty become the property of Xtreme Motor Company with no further compensation due.
No statement made by any person(s) other than the officers of this corporation shall alter or modify any policy stated in this document. Dealers shall not make any statements or promises that conflict with the terms stated herein. Any such conflicting statements shall not alter the intentions, definitions or application of this Limited Warranty Statement.
Warranty Period:
Off Road Motorcycles: Ninety (90) days from date of retail sale.
On Road Motorcycles and Motor Scooters: Twenty-Four (24) months or unlimited mileage from date of retail sale.
All Terrain Vehicles: 6 months from date of retail sale.
Warranty Registration and Proof of Purchase:
The retail sale is registered by the selling authorized dealer with Xtreme Motor Co. by submission of a Warranty registration form; in lieu of this a completed Bill of Sale (Invoice) from the selling authorized dealer will be accepted as proof of retail delivery. If the Invoice date does not agree with the warranty registration form date on file with Xtreme Motor Company, the earlier of the two dates will be regarded as the "in service Date".
Replacement Parts and Accessories:
A ninety (90) day warranty applies to over-the-counter Replacement Parts (parts replaced under warranty are covered for the remainder of the original product warranty period). Accessories are not warranted unless failure was due to a defect in materials or workmanship within ninety (90) days from the original product purchase date.
Emission System Warranty:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) have implemented regulations that set specific exhaust emission limits. Xtreme Motor Co. supports the effort to improve air quality and currently tests and certifies engines with both agencies. Emission certified engines can be identified by an "Important Engine Information" label on the engine.
Warranty Exclusions and Limitations:
Xtreme Motor Co. assumes no responsibility for damages, loss or injury resulting from: Normal use of products, operating products in a manner not outlined in the owner's manual, normal wear and tear; misuse; modifications to or removal of original component parts; neglect or improper repairs, maintenance or adjustments; fuel, oil, fuel mix, filters or parts not conforming to manufacturer's specifications; or service by other than authorized Xtreme Motor Co. servicing dealers.
Additional exclusions:
Units used for rental purposes are not covered.
Units used for any type competition are not covered.
Units sold by unauthorized dealers are not covered.
Units delivered to customers unassembled are not covered. Retail customer should not accept delivery of a unit in the crate or in any state of disassembly.
Unit delivered to customer as demonstrator, "as is" or without a Manufacturers Statement of Origin (MSO) are not covered.
Preventative or normal required maintenance service parts, materials and labor are specifically not covered by warranty.
Warranty is valid for the first retail purchaser only this warranty is not transferable.
This warranty is limited to the terms stated herein. Xtreme Motor Co. disclaims all liability for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.
Xtreme Motor Co. reserves the right to change the design or specifications of any product without obligation to modify previously produced units.
Owner's Responsibilities:
The owner shall demonstrate reasonable care in the use, maintenance and storage of the Xtreme Motor Co. product. In the event of a warranted failure, the owner shall deliver the product to any authorized Xtreme Motor Co. servicing dealer for correction. Proof of purchase must be presented to the repairing authorized Xtreme Motor Co. servicing dealer to obtain warranty service. This must include date of purchase, model and serial number, and the name and address of the selling dealer. Preventative or normal required maintenance service parts, materials and labor are specifically not covered by warranty. Owner should be prepared to show records of required preventative maintenance as outlined in the owners manual or service schedule.

This Limited Warranty Policy is effective as of January 1, 2003. Terms are subject to change without notice.
Dealer shall make copies of this warranty available to all potential customers if requested and Dealer must provide a copy to each retail customer who purchases an XTREME unit from their dealership.
